El australiano Joel Sarakula, recientemente afIncado en Gran Canaria nos presenta en formato trio un concierto lleno de soul, funk y sonido disco. En 2020 presenta su cuarto disco, Companionship (2020). Soft-rock y soul con alguna que otra pincelada funk o incluso disco. Siempre elegante, con una marcada aureola vintage 70s. Sus trabajos anteriores, The Golden Age (2013), The Imposter (2015) y Love Club (2018), sonando en la BBC Radio 2, BBC 6, BBC London o XFM. Es destacable, además, su presencia en el circuito de festivales como el SXSW, Primavera Sound, Glastonbury, The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City, Scala London, Tallinn Music Week, VROX o Reeperbahnfestival de Hamburg.
